Jeff Canin

Jeff Canin has worked in the financial services industry for over 22 years. He is co-founder of the Center for Smart Energy, a consulting firm providing research and advisory services to companies in the energy sector. Jeff was engaged as a venture capitalist with eFund, LLC and US Venture Partners, and is a limited partner in several Washington and California venture funds. Prior to moving to Seattle area, Jeff was senior technology analyst in San Francisco with Hambrecht & Quist, Montgomery Securities and Salomon Brothers, providing institutional research coverage of the computer hardware and software sectors. He began his career with IBM in large systems marketing and systems engineering. Jeff received a BA in Engineering and Economics from Brown University and his MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He holds his NASD Series 7, 63 and 65 Securities licenses and a NYSE Series 16 Supervisory Analyst license.
